A new product was born integrating fine art and the latest word in flash technology. We offer an experience in a virtual world created to suit our clients’ needs. By creating an interactive presentation for model simulations, we strive to set a new standard in the way we view rendered images.

While going through my photo archive this morning, I came across a panorama I shot last November while working on the CNN hologram project. It was a day before the 2008 elections, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona – where McCain addressed his followers and media on election night.

Lights

The production ordered a spot-light company to create colorful dancing lights in the sky overhead. I asked them to hold the lights still for the shot.

Spinning Object Carousel

One of our recent projects involved shooting a bunch of magnificent rocks from all around the planet. Can we lift 40kg rocks onto our 360 photo set? Apparently we can! Some of these rocks were carried by elephants from remote locations in exotic countries.

We chose to display the rocks on a flash rotating carousel for our client embed right into his website’s front page. Check out the petrified wood; once alive and growing, and now solid rock. Amazing!

Sheraton Presidential Suite

On the 18th floor we found a heavy wooden door which led to the brand new Presidential Suite. As you will see in the virtual tour, the Sheraton did not spare on pampering comfort and yummy surprises.

This tour includes video streaming of a YouTube clip made about the Sheraton, jazz music and still images which display certain objects in a more focused way. The tour consists of 3 tour spots and loads progressively. Enjoy!

400 megapixel photo

A roaring crowd of 75,000 people rocked the stadium. We had 10 stadium guards protecting us and our equipment during the shoot. The crowd and winds shook our gear as we were taking the necessary pictures to create this 400 megapixel panorama.

15,000 picture photo Mosaic

After playing around a bit with multi scale image technology and mosaic software, and 7 days of uploading to my server, I’m able to present my first mega photo mosaic, created from 15,000 pictures I took during the past few years. A small portion of the pictures were borrowed from flickr photographers, to fill in missing colors.

Apparently photo mosaics can be created from one to any number of tile-photos. Color is added to photos if required. The innovation here is the way the mosaic is displayed, based on Flash, and the fact that you can actually zoom in to see each of the pictures at 600 pixels wide.
